The Morelli Copper Nickel Titanium Universal Form Archwires (Rectangular) are thermally active archwires developed for the self-ligating appliance system. The 6% copper added to the nickel titanium alloy enhances its thermal properties, producing optimum force delivery, while the rectangular cross-section fills the bracket slot and allows torque expression. Upper and lower arches are supplied as separate options.
Key Features
6% copper in the NiTi alloy — sets the activation temperature at 35 °C (95 °F): the wire stays malleable below it for easier insertion and expresses its programmed force once it reaches mouth temperature
Rectangular cross-section — slot engagement for torque expression and three-dimensional control
Developed for self-ligating systems — designed around low-friction sliding mechanics
Five rectangular sizes — from .014″ × .025″ through .019″ × .025″ for a full working sequence
Shape memory and high deformation resistance — sustained performance across long working phases
Separate upper and lower arches — anatomy-specific selection at the point of order
