Our story began in the 1980s when Olivio Aguiar, our founder, took to the streets of southern Brazil, offering hard-to-find orthodontic products through door-to-door sales.
As the orthodontics industry grew, so did we. In the 1990s, Dental Aguiar opened its first store in Curitiba, Paraná, solidifying our reputation for quality and reliability. Over the years, we’ve partnered with prestigious universities and played a role in shaping the careers of leading orthodontists worldwide. Names like Dr. Alexandre Moro, Dr. Ricardo Moresca, and Dr. Orlando Tanaka have all trusted Dental Aguiar for their professional needs.

Taking the Leap: Going International
In 2014, Diego Aguiar, Olivio’s oldest son, led our expansion into the global market, starting with clients in Chile and rapidly growing to serve customers across the world, delivering to South America, North America, Europe, Oceania and Africa. By 2022, this dream culminated in the establishment of First Dental Supplies, our U.S.-based subsidiary in Florida, which continues to thrive and expand its reach across the country and beyond.
