The Quinelato Miller Bone File #1 is a double-ended instrument used to smooth and refine alveolar bone by abrasion, working the surface down once the coarse bone removal is already done. It is made from surgical stainless steel and carries serrated working surfaces that cut on the pull stroke, so the clinician draws the file toward the handle to shave the ridge.

Key Features

  • Serrated working surfaces — remove bone in fine increments to level ridges and sharp margins left after an extraction.

  • Pull-stroke cutting action — the file is drawn toward the operator, so the cutting action stays directed away from the tissue being protected.

  • Double-ended format — two working surfaces on one shaft for different approach angles inside the mouth.

  • Surgical stainless steel — reprocessed by steam sterilization between procedures.

  • Integral serrated ends — the cutting surfaces are formed on the instrument itself, with nothing to loosen in use.
