The Morelli Closed Gurin Lock Long Hook combines a closed round slot that encircles the archwire with an extended traction hook. The longer hook moves the point of force application further from the wire, opening the working span for elastics, chains and coil springs and making the attachment easier to reach with pliers or a ligature. Machined from stainless steel, it is threaded onto the wire during assembly and locked in place with the Morelli hexagonal Gurin key.
