The Morelli Long Crimpable Ball Hook is a traction attachment fixed directly to the archwire by crimping with pliers, with no nut, key or threading required. Its ball-shaped tip retains elastic chains, intermaxillary elastics, coil springs and metal ligatures, while the extended stem places the point of force away from the wire. Made from stainless steel with a smooth, polished surface, it is the simpler alternative when the arch only needs an added hook, not an adjustable stop.
