Which hook fits the mechanics?
Use the Short Crimpable Ball Hook when the traction point sits on the archwire itself and no height adjustment is required. If the elastic or spring comes from a mini-implant and the arm has to be set to a defined height, use the Crimpable Hook for TADs; if the part has to block the wire from sliding instead of holding an elastic, use the Closed Gurin Lock.
