The Quinelato Downfracture Forceps OMiQ® was developed to complement the OMiQ® line, although the manufacturer states that its use is also compatible with conventional approaches. Its main application is to complete the separation and mobilization of the maxilla, the stage known as downfracture.
Key Features
Maxillary Downfracture — its main application is completing the separation and mobilization of the maxilla
Mandibular Use — it can also complete the separation of the mandible, especially at the inferior edge, on the same principles
Compatible With Conventional Approaches — developed for the OMiQ® line, but usable outside minimally invasive technique
Spreading Action — the paired arms open against the bone to carry the segment through its separation
Elongated Body — the extended arms reach the separation plane from outside the incision
