The Morelli SLH Self-Ligating Hybrid Brackets are a stainless steel, MBT prescription case covering incisors, canines and premolars in both arches, in .022″ slot. The hybrid concept is applied by position in the arch: interactive brackets on the incisors and passive brackets on the canines and premolars, combining anterior control with posterior freedom of movement in a single case.
Key Features
Interactive Anterior Segment — the incisors (12, 11, 21, 22 and 42, 41, 31, 32) carry interactive clips, which engage the rectangular wire and deliver torque and rotation control where finishing is most visible.
Passive Posterior Segment — canines, first and second premolars carry passive clips, so the wire slides freely through the segment that drives space closure.
Dual Activation in One Case — anterior control and posterior sliding are obtained without mixing kits or ordering pieces separately.
Anti-Lock System — clip geometry specially designed to prevent jamming caused by plaque and tartar buildup.
Optimized Slot — curvature relief and rounded edges reduce binding and notching, preserving sliding mechanics.
MIM Construction — body injected by Metal Injection Molding as a single piece, for high dimensional precision and superior resistance.
Base Adaptation and Retention — mesiodistal and cervico-occlusal curvatures, micro pins, retention bands and sandblasted surface for mechanical anchoring.
Rounded, Low-Profile Design — small dimensions and rounded contours for patient comfort; the clip is opened and closed without special pliers.

Lower second premolar (45): torque -17° · angulation +2° · length 3,0 mm
Clinical Applications
Extraction cases and space closure that need free posterior sliding while anterior torque is kept under control.
Anterior finishing with torque and rotation demand, where the incisors must be actively expressed and the posterior segment must not add friction.
Treatments that need both behaviours in one arch, with interactive control at the front and passive sliding at the back, arranged by tooth position.
Which self-ligating system does this case call for?
Choose the SLH Hybrid when the case needs active control on the incisors and free sliding on canines and premolars in a single set already arranged by tooth position.
