The Morelli Self-Ligating Interactive Stainless Steel .022 MBT Individual Bracket is the single-position replacement for an interactive self-ligating MBT case. It is the same bracket supplied in the Morelli SLI MBT case kit, sold by tooth position. The MBT prescription carries its own torque and angulation values — higher incisor torque and negative lower incisor torque — and must not be mixed with Roth brackets in the same arch.
Key Features
Interactive clip mechanics — the clip leaves the smaller wires free and exerts pressure from the .016″ × .022″ wire upward, combining free sliding at the start with active torque delivery at the finish.
MBT prescription per position — anchorage-oriented values, with +17° on the upper central incisors and -6° on the lower incisors, built into each base.
Nitinol clip — The Nitinol clip is superelastic and keeps its recovery force after repeated opening and closing, resisting mechanical deformation throughout the entire treatment.
Anti-Lock System — specially designed to prevent the clip from jamming due to plaque and tartar buildup.
MIM construction — injected using Metal Injection Molding, giving superior resistance to the bracket body and clip housing.
Rounded design — rounded contours, slot with curvature relief and rounded ends for patient comfort and smooth wire sliding.
Optimized base — mesiodistal and cervico-occlusal curvature for excellent adaptation and mechanical retention.

Clinical Applications
Single-position replacement in an MBT case already bonded with interactive self-ligating brackets, preserving the original prescription.
Incisor torque control in extraction and anchorage-demanding cases, where the interactive clip engages the rectangular wire to express the MBT values.
Practice stock by position for the MBT line, avoiding the use of a Roth replacement in an MBT arch.
Rebonding an MBT case and need the same interactive bracket?
Choose the exact tooth position and keep the prescription consistent — never substitute an MBT bracket with a Roth one; new cases start from the Morelli SLI MBT 20-piece kit.
