The Morelli Self-Ligating Passive Stainless Steel .022 Roth Brackets — Single Patient Kit is a complete 20-bracket case built entirely from passive self-ligating brackets. The Nitinol clip closes over the slot without pressing the archwire, so the wire runs free and friction stays at a minimum from the first aligning wire onward. Manufactured in stainless steel by Metal Injection Molding (MIM) under the Roth prescription.

Key Features

  • Fully passive ligation — every bracket in the kit is passive; the clip does not load the archwire, keeping sliding resistance low across the whole arch.

  • Nitinol clip with elastic memory — the nickel-titanium alloy resists mechanical deformation throughout the entire treatment.

  • Anti-lock system — specially designed to prevent the clip from jamming due to plaque and tartar build-up.

  • Optimized slot — curvature relief and rounded edges reduce binding and notching for excellent sliding mechanics.

  • MIM-injected body with rounded design — a single highly precise, resistant piece with rounded contours for patient comfort.

  • High-retention base — mesiodistal and cervico-occlusal curvatures, micro pins, retention bands and sandblasting for maximum adhesive anchoring and easy removal of marginal excess.

Clinical Applications

  • Alignment and leveling of crowded or rotated arches, where free archwire sliding is the priority.

  • Space closure and sliding mechanics in extraction cases, with reduced friction along the archwire.

  • Full-arch fixed treatment under the Roth prescription, upper and lower, for a single patient.

Need the lowest possible friction across the entire arch?
Choose this kit when free wire sliding matters more than early anterior torque expression. If you want interactive control on the incisors while keeping the posteriors passive, choose the Hybrid kit; if the patient asks for a discreet treatment, choose the Ceramic kit.
