The Morelli Stainless Steel Ligature Wire ā Ć.008ā³ is a solid single-strand round CrNi (chrome-nickel) stainless steel wire supplied on a 50 g roll and used to tie the archwire into the bracket slot. It is the thinnest ligature gauge Morelli offers: at Ć0,20 mm it twists down with the least effort and leaves the smallest amount of metal around the bracket wings.

Which ligature gauge should you choose?
Pick Ć.008ā³ when the tie must stay discreet and twist easily; move up to .010ā³ or .012ā³ when the ligature has to hold more load. This is a single-strand tying wire and is not interchangeable with twist-flex twisted wire, which works inside the slot as an archwire.
