The Morelli Stainless Steel Twisted Wire .015″ is a 3-strand twist-flex CrNi (chrome-nickel) stainless steel wire supplied in straight 360 mm sticks. Morelli indicates twist-flex wire for the first stages of orthodontic treatment and for making lingual retainer bars. At .015″ (0,38 mm) it is the lighter of the two Morelli 3-strand twist-flex sticks — its lower section gives the greater range of deflection, which suits the most crowded arches at the start of treatment.

Choose .015″ for maximum flexibility and the lightest force; step up to .018″ when the case needs more strength or a stiffer retainer bar.
