The Morelli Ceramic Bondable Flat Lingual Button is a discreet bondable attachment produced in polycrystalline alumina ceramic. It provides a discreet anchorage point for intermaxillary elastics, elastic chains, ligature wires and spring hooks, and is bonded directly to flat enamel surfaces of erupted teeth where a metal button would be visible. Its versatility also makes it the attachment of choice for the special movements required in aligner treatments, and the recently improved design allows bonding even in narrow areas, such as the cervical region of the teeth.

Key Features

  • Polycrystalline alumina ceramic — keeps the attachment discreet against the enamel

  • Mushroom-shaped head — the undercut holds elastics, chains and ligature wires without slipping

  • Flat base — indicated for flat enamel surfaces

  • Improved compact design — allows bonding in narrow areas, such as the cervical region of the teeth

  • Sandblasted and silanized base — combines mechanical and chemical adhesion to the bonding resin

  • Superior aesthetics and resistance — as declared by the manufacturer

  • Versatile engagement — accepts elastic chains, intermaxillary elastics, ligature wires and spring hooks

  • Rotation and derotation mechanics using elastic chain or ligature wire from the button to the archwire

How is it fixed, and how many?
This ceramic button is bonded only — like every ceramic attachment, it is never welded — and is supplied in packs of 2. Its flat base is indicated for flat enamel surfaces, and the mushroom head holds elastics, chains, ligature wires and spring hooks.
