The Morelli Medium Contra-Angle Pick-Up Driver is a 24 mm hexagonal driver used to pick up, insert and remove orthodontic mini-implants (TADs) with a contra-angle handpiece. Manufactured from high-grade stainless steel, it is the intermediate stem of the three Morelli contra-angle pick-up drivers and belongs to the Morelli Orthodontic Mini Screw Tool Kit.

Clinical Applications
Routine mini-implant placement — buccal and palatal sites of intermediate depth, where the short driver runs out of reach and the long driver is more stem than the site requires.

Medium, short or long?
The three Morelli contra-angle pick-up drivers differ only in stem length: 8 mm (short), 24 mm (medium) and 41 mm (long). The 24 mm medium sits in the middle and covers most day-to-day insertions; drop to the short driver when access is fully open, and step up to the long driver only when the posterior site leaves no room for the handpiece head.
